Here are the top stories in Southampton today:

1. Do you have a suitcase that you can donate to Temple Adas Israel in Sag Harbor? The suitcases will be used to bring supplies to Ukraine. Once the supplies are distributed, “the empty suitcases will be used by evacuees to carry whatever they can from their homes,” the post said. The suitcases will be collected through June 5 at two locations in Sag Harbor. For information on suitcase drop-off, contact Rivalyn Zweig at rivalyn@mac.com. (Southampton Patch)
2. It seems everything is going up in price, that is, except Hamptons rentals. Landlords are finding it impossible to charge the same rates they did in recent summers. Since international travel has opened up, there is a lot of inventory so renters are holding out for last-minute discounts. (New York Post )
3. Wedding planners on the East End this summer say that couples are planning extravagant weddings; “it’s go big or go home.” According to a top Hamptons wedding planner, “couples are now spending 40 percent more per guest than they did before the pandemic.” And, of course, no wedding Out East is complete without one amenity, she says: “a Kardashian-endorsed, skin-smoothing MirMir photo booth.” (New York Post )
4. On Saturday, the East Hampton Pride Parade begins at 11 a.m. near Pond View Lane and Guild Hall. The website carved out the itinerary, “at noon, participants will march east on Main Street and continue to Herrick Park via Newton Lane, Railroad Avenue, and Lumber Lane.” The park will be hopping until 3 p.m. with celebration and music from deejay Karin Ward. 5. Fauna opened at the end of May in Westhampton Beach. A steakhouse in the same town, with the same owners as Flora (a Newsday top 100 restaurant), Newsday reports. Fauna is run by chef Aaron Mitchell-Patrick and his wife, Kathleen Matos, who is the general manager. (Subscription: Newsday)
