Bride creates her own DIY wedding dress with POCKETS

When friends play cupid, it can go one of two ways, but luckily for Tamara and John, their close friends guessed correctly.
John got down on one knee just 10 months after the pair started dating. “When you know, you just know,” Tamara says.
During their Christian ceremony, guests sang two powerful songs that completely changed the atmosphere of the room and left everyone with a special moment to remember.
The pair were over the moon with how smoothly everything went, after organising their big day for seven months without a wedding planner.
When and where
Tamara and John tied the knot at Moana Hall on March 17, 2022 and hosted their reception at the European-style Masonmill Gardens in Carmel.
Dress
When bride-to-be Tamara found a lack of stock at local bridal stores, she took it upon herself to create her dream dress. No easy task for everyday folk, but luckily her experience as a fashion designer made the process a whole lot easier, and even enabled her to incorporate a secret side pocket for tissues.
Honeymoon
The couple celebrated their relaxing honeymoon in WA’s South West and noted their favourite food venues, Vasse Felix and Voyager Estate, to be a highlight.
